A Net Zero Workspace
Embark on a journey to a workspace where sustainability and innovation converge, creating a harmonious fusion of quality design and technology. Carbon Clean, a trailblazing company committed to achieving net zero carbon emissions, sought a new home that reflected its values and vision, located in the Forge, LandSec's first net zero carbon building. As a B Corp company, we jumped at the challenge of designing a workspace that embodied their mission and aligned with our commitment to sustainability.
Throughout the project, we monitored our carbon emissions using One Click LCA to ensure we achieved the SKA gold rating, a non-negotiable accreditation for Carbon Clean. Our design approach was highly considered, prioritising UK-based furniture manufacturers and suppliers, minimising our environmental impact. Qflow allowed us to track waste and deliveries on-site, maintaining the integrity of the building and creating a workspace that aligns with ours and Carbon Cleans' shared values.
Eco-friendly Future
As you enter the workspace, you'll find Carbon Clean's awards showcased in a captivating exhibition display, featuring an island unit made from ocean waste. The workspace boasts flax seed flooring, fabrics from recycled ocean plastic, and a blue colour theme, reflecting the brand's identity and creating a unique, eco-friendly experience.
The design and layout of the workspace symbolise Carbon Clean's vision for a future-proofed environment that can easily be adapted to the ever-changing needs of the workforce. Different work areas are spread across the space to cater to the variety of working styles within the company. At the heart of the workspace, you will find the multifunctional town hall space equipped with state-of-the-art technology, providing a destination for larger events and gatherings.
This workspace symbolises dedication to sustainability, innovation, and collaboration. It embodies a future where businesses and the environment thrive together, inspiring a greener, more sustainable world.
