Numis wins SBID Workplace Project of the Year Award 2022

We are so excited to announce that our project 'A new era for Numis' won Workplace Project of the Year at the SBID International Design Awards® ceremony on Friday.

Outstanding office design is about removing barriers to communication, encouraging interaction and creating a positive environment in which people can thrive. The Numis project seeks to create such a place. The wonderful external terraces are accessible to all staff and connect directly to generous breakout and informal working areas. A staircase links the working floors with the client floor and allows seamless communication between teams as a powerful embodiment of this design intent. It sits within an oversized opening allowing oblique and indirect views between the floors – encouraging a sense of connectivity and togetherness.

The design exploits the stunning views of the City by creating an open, unhindered view to the skyline on entry to reception. Visitors see the scale and size of the
staircase as they are drawn to the view and will hopefully be impressed by the confident, forward looking vision of the organisation that the design engenders.

The project integrated substantial elements such as the 125 person auditorium into the project by working with the developer at an early stage to ensure that Base Build/CAT A modifications could be made before the fit out began – a more sustainable approach that also saved time and money for Numis.
