Modus builds a Web 3 Workspace for Huckletree
Modus Workspace are proud to share their collaboration with Huckletree to unveil their latest coworking space, Jubilee House, Oxford Street. This innovative office space has been thoughtfully designed to be inclusive, playful, and Instagrammable, offering a truly immersive experience for its occupants.
Spanning the 4th and 5th floors of the building, with a dedicated entrance on Oxford Circus, the Jubilee House serviced office offers a range of amenities for its occupants. The 4th floor serves as the main hub, featuring an informal meeting space, a gaming zone, and a Teapoint breakout area that also doubles as a presentation and events space. The office also includes two large enterprise studios, each with its own meeting rooms and teapoints, as well as several smaller studios that utilize the communal facilities.
Upon entering the office, visitors are immediately greeted by colourful arches that take them on a journey through the space. Turning left leads to a darker, reflective gaming cave, while turning right leads to a lighter teapoint breakout space. The first meeting of the office is marked by a unique dichroic film on the manifestation, creating an ever-changing atmosphere that can be experienced in a variety of ways. This film is designed to reflect the changing light entering the building, resulting in a constantly evolving space that inspires creativity and innovation.
The arches, aptly named "tunnel vision," lead to the studio spaces, featuring a black ceiling and dichroic film that guides visitors down to an infinity mirror, giving the corridor a mesmerizing, never-ending tunnel effect. The studio spaces themselves are designed to be inclusive and playful, with rope lighting adding elements of biophilic forms to the angular floorplate, creating a dynamic and vibrant environment.
The design process for the Jubilee House serviced office was a collaborative effort with the client, involving a long journey to create a space that meets the unique needs of its occupants. One of the standout features of the space is its commitment to inclusivity. The office boasts non-gender specific bathrooms, ensuring that everyone feels welcome and comfortable.
