Is STRIDE Right for You?

Design ESG 3rd November, 2025

Timing, clarity, and delivery structure can make or break a project. STRIDE was developed to meet a specific need for clients who already have a clear design direction and need to deliver it confidently.

It’s not a one-size-fits-all approach, and that’s the point. STRIDE is most valuable when used in the right context, by the right people, at the right stage. But when is it the right choice? And who gets the most value from using it?

The Best of Both Worlds

STRIDE stands for Stage Two/Three Rapid Integration, Development and Execution. We developed it for clients who already have a design vision or a trusted architect on board but want to hand over the project to an accountable, technical design and delivery team that can carry it through to completion without delays, risk, or compromise.

It’s a way of protecting the integrity of a concept while streamlining the details, compliance, procurement, and construction that follow.

Why Clients Choose STRIDE

STRIDE was designed for clients who have appointed an architect or defined a concept, and now need a delivery partner who can move quickly and confidently through the next stages.

It protects design integrity while streamlining the coordination, compliance, and construction that follows.

It’s the right route when:

  • Your concept is already developed to a RIBA Stage
  • You’ve appointed an architect and want to retain their vision
  • You’re under pressure to move fast or hit a fixed date
  • You need cost and programme certainty without sacrificing quality
  • You want to avoid the complexity of traditional procurement

With one integrated team, STRIDE allows projects to move forward at pace, without losing grip on high quality design detailing or commercial certainty.

Who STRIDE Works Best For

Landlords and Asset Managers

For landlords and asset managers, STRIDE gives us the chance to deliver at speed due to our all-encompassing in-house team capabilities and structure that is more efficient than a traditional structure.

Because design, commercial and delivery sit under one roof, coordination starts from day 1 across disciplines. That means faster mobilisation, tighter programme control, and clearer alignment with leasing goals or marketing timelines.

Our in-house technical team also engages early to ensure full alignment with base build constraints, landlord packs and compliance requirements, avoiding late-stage changes and rework. That means fewer surprises later, and a smoother route to a high-quality, future-proofed space that protects asset value and supports long-term leasing potential.

Occupiers

For clients with a clear concept and a trusted design partner, STRIDE offers a delivery model that safeguards intent and removes the risk of delays. We take responsibility from RIBA Stage 2/3, delivering detail, managing risk, and coordinating every element in-house.

Procurement-Led Teams and Project Managers

STRIDE simplifies the process for teams managing multiple stakeholders, tight budgets or high-risk delivery. With a single contract and one accountable delivery team, it speeds up decision-making and improves programme certainty from day one.

What STRIDE Looks Like in Action

Costello Medical

With their concept already in place, Costello Medical needed a fit-out partner who could deliver on detail. We took the approved design, refined it technically, and delivered the space in just 14 weeks. Dummy walls ensured confidentiality, services were split early to enable subletting, and minor late-stage changes were absorbed without impacting the programme.

McGill & Partners

For McGill & Partners at 40 Leadenhall Street, we took over a RIBA Stage 4 design developed by BDG and built out the scheme to meet stringent compliance and BIM Level 2 standards. STRIDE enabled us to work closely with building control, coordinate complex mechanical requirements, and keep the original vision intact while solving technical challenges on the ground.

Watches of Switzerland

The vision for Watches of Switzerland’s 75,000 sq ft HQ was already formed and developed by long-time design partner, Quadrant. STRIDE allowed us to deliver the concept without compromise across three floors, integrating retail-quality design with workplace functionality. By working closely with the architect and coordinating every technical layer in-house, we kept delivery on track, managed a complex brief, and ensured the final space reflected the original intent, without rework or delay.

Stewarts

Stewarts’ 70,000 sq ft workspace was delivered through STRIDE, with our team taking responsibility from Stage 3 through to completion. The architect’s design was safeguarded while technical details were resolved, phased works kept two floors live throughout, and compliance was managed in-house. The scheme introduced a new interconnecting staircase, a client-facing café, and a flexible three-way divisible meeting room with an automated Skyfold wall system. Coordination was streamlined and materials were reused to achieve BREEAM Excellent. Our STRIDE framework ensured programme certainty and delivery of a high-performing workplace without disruption.

Why STRIDE Works

What sets STRIDE apart is capability.

  • Our team places equal importance on design and construction
  • We manage risk, compliance and technical detail in-house
  • We don’t outsource decision-making, we resolve and deliver directly
  • You get full visibility at every step

In short, we take your project at the moment it matters most and drive it to the finish line.
