Rakuten Symphony, a cutting-edge technology company, challenged us to design a customer experience centre that seamlessly blends innovative technology with Japanese design aesthetics. Over six months, our design team created a futuristic space that impresses both visitors and investors.

Connecting traditional and technology

We incorporated Japanese design concepts such as “Wabi-sabi,” “Ma,” and “Zen,” emphasising simplicity, imperfection, and negative space. Using black and white tones, we created a neutral backdrop that allows their tech products to stand out.

The innovation centre features three main areas; a product display area, a meeting suite showcasing video technology and a presentation town hall.

We utilised natural light and sustainable materials throughout the project. The final design reflects Rakuten Symphony’s brand and commitment to sustainability, providing an unforgettable experience for visitors.

Positive reactions

The Rakuten Symphony centre has been a resounding success. It has generated significant interest from investors and received overwhelmingly positive feedback for offering an innovative and engaging experience.
